Modern Homes with History at Kersteman Quarter!

logo

Brownfield Green has converted this delightful Victorian chapel into 5 new homes: 2 houses, 2 flats and a duplex apartment with a roof terrace.

The chapel was originally built in 1899 and opened for the first time on Christmas Day that year. The congregation apparently planned to build a larger church immediately adjacent to the chapel, intending to then use the chapel as a Sunday School. The larger church was never built, leaving this pretty chapel with unusually large grounds.

The building itself has a strong character with its quirky geometric lancet window, dormer clerestory windows and a beamed roof with carved wooden trusses. Each of the new homes at Kersteman Quarter has fantastic features, making them unique historical homes, without compromising on modern comfort.

Kersteman Quarter is located on the Redland and Bishopston borders in central Bristol; a tranquil oasis near the heart of the city. The location is particularly good: ideally located for excellent schools (within the Area of First Priority for the highly popular Redland Green School), a friendly community, independent shopping on nearby Gloucester Road and good nearby road and rail links.

The development completed July 2016.

All properties sold July 2016.
